Chicken Up @ Jurong East MRT

Went to Chicken Up (Jurong East Branch) on a weekday for dinner. The place was packed but the staff was very helpful to set up a table for us when i stepped into the restaurant. I have bought a Groupon voucher for $12 that offers 2 sets of chicken wings (normal price is $24). I ordered different flavours for each set of chicken wings, soya sauce and hot & spicy flavours.

I actually liked the soya sauce flavour better as it is crispier. The hot & spicy wings were really hot and sweet, good for those who love spicy food. Initially I was worried that one set of chicken wings may not be enough for one person but the four chicken wings turned out to be quite big and it was very filling. We complimented our meal with Japchae (fried glass noodle with vegetables) and truffle fries that cost SGD8 each. The Japchae was quite tasty but the portion was a bit small. The truffle fries were really good and we finished all.

We ordered white grape and D. soda apple canned drinks. They were good with the meal.

Overall the bill was about SGD34 with Groupon voucher of SGD12. Without the Groupon voucher, the meal would have cost us SGD46. I think it would be expensive without the Groupon deal.
