HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok has a recent facelift. The swimming pool has been renovated and has a new theme. There are a handful of new restaurants and cafes. It now houses the KFC, Milk & Honey, Saizeriya, Ah Huat Cafe and a new eating place (opening soon). It has a NTUC Fairprice supermarket. I went to have breakfast at Ah Huat Cafe one Saturday morning. It was quite packed that day. We ordered a kaya set, a chicken ham noodle and one teh-O. The price was $12. The eggs were quite nice, not watery but firm. The toasts were ok level. The chicken ham noodle was a bit disappointing. The noodle didn't absorb the broth taste and was quite bland. Do you think it was expensive?
