House of Roasted Duck is a brand under the Gao Ji Food (www.gaojifood.com). It serves traditional Hong Kong Style roasted delights, congee and noodle. It also has Cantonese Dim Sum.

It is located at 233 Victoria Street Singapore 188026.

We ordered soybean milk, one hot and one cold, spare ribs in pickled lemon plum sauce, two roasted duck noodle (dry) and one shrimp wanton soup.

The total bill is SGD31.00. They don't charge GST and service charges. In the restaurant, you will be able to listen to Cantonese music and oldies.

Saturday Brunch at Mooks Thai Bistro. Spacious and good ambience, a good place to gather for a meal. It is in a Club in Bukit Batok so it is not really crowded most of the time.

Ordered a promo brunch set Thai Chicken Noodle soup with Thai Iced Milk Tea. Ordered separate Iced Lemongrass drink.

The Thai Chicken Noodle soup. It was a bit salty and the friendly waiter said that in Thailand it is less salty as they add sugar. Here they add less sugar. It was still tasty but I thought it was a bit spicy too. Gentle on the chilli powder...

The bill is SGD27… but with 10% discount for HomeTeamNS member, it is about SGD25.

This is the first time that I have my dinner here. Food is acceptable level but not unique or something that you would like to visit within a month.

Well, as usual, the dinner crowd will start to build up at around 6.30pm and if you want to avoid any queuing at any restaurant in VivoCity, please find your restaurant by 6.30pm and you will be able to reduce your waiting time. You wouldn't want to spend your precious time standing and waiting in a queue. Trust me, get there before 6.30pm will be your best option.
